Step 1– Open Google Chrome and search for Chrome Store. Select chrome web store from the list that follows.
Step 2- On the upper left-hand side, search for ‘Block Site’.
Step 3– For the first extension that follows, click ‘Add to chrome’.
Step 4- Select the Add extension button on the popup. When downloaded, permit to install the extension.
Step 5- Type the website or websites you want to block into the search bar.
Step 6- Click the green plus on the right.

The last and most crucial step after installing the extension is to visit the site that you want to block. Like for example, I want to stop the Facebook website from my Chrome as this site used to disturb me at my working hour.

So, what I will do is to:

1. Open the Facebook site in my chrome window.
2. When the site gets open, all I will do is click on the Block Site icon.
3. And at last, will click on the button called block this site.
4. Now the site that was irritating me is blocked, and now I can work with more ease.

There is one more way if you don’t want to open the site in your window and want to block the site without opening it. Then what will you do?
