With Christmas peaking right around the corner, many families start planning where they’ll be spending a warm/winter Christmas day. Where is your ideal Christmas celebration?
For those in winter climate, they may look for somewhere warm to celebrate. For those in warmer climate, they may want to travel to winter weather countries or states. Wherever you are, we might just know where you’d rather be this Christmas.

London
London is no stranger to festive traditions and celebrations; it’s what keeps visitors coming all year round especially during the Christmas season. The vibrant Christmas lights light up the streets of the city, spectacular Christmas markets brighten up the Thames River and similar parks and streets, and of course, ice rinks make a great symbolism for the winter mood.
And most importantly, where else do you want to celebrate other than the inspiration behind Charles Dickens’ well-known novel A Christmas Carol? And by the way, the festive English food is just as good as it sounds.
Mexico
Another great destination for a winter escape and a good choice of destination to celebrate Christ’s birth is Mexico. The warm temperature and the idea of a beach vacation on Christmas is definitely a good plan. Make sure to catch at least one or two or processions while you’re there.
Germany
Specifically in Nuremberg, here you’ll get a sight of at least 200 vendors lighting up the area with their jaw-dropping decors and displays, they take the job seriously for the Most Beautiful Staff Design award.
Another thing that makes Germany a really unique experience is that they make sure that only traditional handmade toys and holiday goods are being sold—no plastics and fake for that matter. And as you roam around the streets, you’ll sense wine, sausage, and toasted almonds. We guess you’ll have to see for yourself Germany in all its Christmas glory for yourself!
New York
The famous ice rink, the decorated tree, the Rockefeller Center, and the annual Christmas Spectacular celebration hosted by Radio City are what makes Christmas in New York a whole lot special. It’s a huge holiday destination and we can’t see why not.
Take a moment to stroll around the fifth Avenue where all the shops and stores are made up in their festive decors and displays. The twinkling lights and joyful people will get you in the mood and in the spirit of the Holidays.
Spain
If you rather have a long vacation up ahead, extending your Christmas trip until Three King’s Day (January 5, also called the Epiphany Eve), and celebrating it at Barcelona, Spain will make Marcelo, Gaspar, and Baltazar light up.
People in Spain lays out all their festive food and celebrates on Christmas Eve and as you guessed it, the night is not meant for sleeping in. Drums and guitar playing out in the streets, shoes left on windowsills or balconies, presents under the Christmas Tree, and an array of Christmas lights are what welcomes you in this country during this season.
Barbados
Far from a lit up street from Christmas lights and winter snow, heading to this Caribbean island this December is a warm way to celebrate the spirit of the holiday. Ice skating is great but so is island living for the beach bums.
Bethlehem
Where else would be better and traditional to spend Christmas other than Bethlehem, Israel, the Man of the Season’s birthplace.
Thousands of people travel to Bethlehem annually to make pilgrimage, attend midnight mass service at the Church of Nativity, and of course, come together in the Manager Square on Christmas Eve. here you’ll witness different people of different religions participating in carol singing as one. Also, feel free to enjoy live music and parades while you’re there!
